Jacking in

I've read other people's field notes for years — the honest, unpolished kind that read like someone thinking out loud — and always told myself I'd start my own once I had something worth saying. That day never arrives on its own, so this is me forcing it.

The plan is to treat this place like a live system rather than a publication. Notes ship small, get patched when I revisit them, and some will be deprecated — that's allowed. The alternative is a blog with three perfect posts and a four-year gap, and everyone has seen that site.

If you're reading this: expect notes on data engineering, running, lifting, travel, and food. Mostly stable, occasionally beta.
